Minnesota Online High School (MNOHS) is currently accepting applications for a part-time adjunct Spanish teacher. This is a long-call substitute position, approximately 0.20 FTE, depending on enrollments, for the full academic year. Additional assignments may become available as the school grows. MNOHS teachers work from home. Hours are flexible, although all teachers are required to be online each weekday, Monday through Friday, and to hold regularly scheduled online office hours.

• Complete Teaching Online, the MNOHS training course, and participate in ongoing online professional development (synchronous and asynchronous)
• Teach in a highly interactive and collaborative online environment

• Minnesota teacher’s license in Spanish (secondary level)
• Excellent communication, teaching, and strategic skills
• Computer with high speed Internet access
• (Preferred) Experience collaborating with Special Education staff
• (Preferred) Experience as an online student or in online teaching
