Pierre Bottineau French Immersion seeks:

Highly-effective elementary French Immersion classroom teacher for new, self-governed urban French immersion school, opening Fall 2012.


Qualifications include: current MN K-6 or elementary teaching license or the ability/willingness to obtain a license and p roficiency in French at the advanced level or above, according to the ACTFL OPI.

An innovative setting, PBFI will be Minnesota’s first self-governed school, allowing autonomy and teacher-led decision-making.  All teachers will work under a memorandum of understanding with MFT 59.   Collaborative/team environment with job-imbedded professional development and regular coaching.   Teachers at PBFI will ensure all students succeed in an environment based on the concept of “no excuses and high expectations for all”.
