    High School Spanish long term substitute teacher

    Monticello High School is looking for a long term Spanish substitute teacher. This is a .5 position with the possibility of it being full time for 12 weeks from October to January.

    This .5 position will begin August 26, 2013

    Qualifications:
    Licensed to teach Spanish in the State of Minnesota

    One section of Spanish 2  (full year). The class is scheduled to run period 4 (11:00-12:30). This is during lunch, so the class will run either 11:00-11:55 or 11:30-12:25 depending on what works best for the person teaching it.

    Middle School Spanish Language Teacher
    City of Lakes Waldorf School is now accepting applications for a Middle School Spanish teacher for the current year. The teacher will be responsible for providing ten class periods of instruction to students in grades six, seven and eight in the Spanish language. The teacher will also be responsible for creating opportunities for our students to interact with Spanish speaking people within our neighborhood and community. The ideal applicant will be an experienced language teacher (grades 6 -8) who demonstrates fluency and knowledge of Spanish cultural traditions and has completed a bachelor’s degree as well as Waldorf training. A love of teaching and a knowledge of /or interest in Waldorf education is required. The middle grades Spanish position is a part time hourly position.

    Our School and Community: City of Lakes Waldorf School is an accredited, full member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. We offer a pre-school to Grade 8 education for 220 students, including Spanish, Mandarin, movement and games, handwork, woodwork, circus and music (recorder, strings and chorus) and after school sports programs. Our parent/child program introduces young families to Waldorf education.

    Our experienced and creative faculty, led by the College of Teachers, is dedicated to excellence in Waldorf education and the development of curriculum to reflect our diverse, urban community.
